Train axle gearbox
The repair of the drive gearbox of the historic train M131.1 for the company Reldop was a true challenge.
Due to the age of the gearbox, the lack of technical information, and the fact that it was delivered to us “in boxes,” the repair process was quite demanding.
However, the customer’s enthusiasm—which we gladly shared—made up for all initial complications.
We are happy that even today there are enthusiasts who strive to preserve such historical value.
Overall, the repair was beneficial for us as well, and we consider the engineering of our predecessors to be very well executed.
The cooperation was a real pleasure, and we hope the gearbox will serve its purpose for many more years to come.
